[Typo3-UG Australia] templaViola question

Hi there

i've been using templaVoila for a site i've just made for a client - and
overall its been incredibly impressive. what i was wondering though if
anyone knows of a way to update the template (html file) of an existing
page template without having to remap it and reconstruct the data structure?

ie. i have made the template and applied it to the site, i now want to
add another button onto the html template - how can i easily update the
template?

i have been doing this the long and hard and tedious way (ie. remapping
and recreating the DS). i have even tried directly accessing the
template object in the database which resulted in the site crashing and
burning.
