You're right. My newsreader archive only goes back to 07.02.2007. But 
concerning Georgian, there is a posting of 11.01.2007 in the mailing 
list archives...

Well - let's lean back in this case and wait another two years for 
something to happen ;-)
All joking apart: I'll try to contact Gia of course.

ISO 639-1 defines language codes, not encodings. The language code for 
Georgian is "ka". Gia filled the php-scripts with "ge" instead. Even 
though the 'static_languages' table in DB said "KA".
But I'll discuss this issue via Gia, too.
