One more important tip.

It has to be done the same with LOCAL TYPO3 installation. Only after 
setting to move translation to external file it will be fetched from 
l10n folder.

Note.
After moving local translation to external files you need to delete 
l10n/xx/extension_x folder and corresponding zip file in "typo3temp" 
folder and then hit "Update from repository" once more.


Then it should all works :)
