[TYPO3-translators] Translation 4.0 can begin

Well, yes and no.

Of course the aim is to have language packs ready when version 4.0 is  
ready. But since language packs are not distributed _with_ the core  
but something people download as a side-dish, it is more up to your  
personal ambitions as a translator if you want to meet the deadline  
of the core or not.

Currently it is also not know how to distribute the language packs in  
the future. For 4.0 we will make zip-files available for download  
that people should unzip in the directory typo3conf/l10n/. But in the  
future I hope to have an extension manager (in version 4.5?) which  
can download the necessary language packs for all extensions used on  
a system - automatically.

How the future distribution is going to happen is a question I just  
tried to open for discussion on this list! So if you have some  
technical ideas, please let us know.
