Hi
I made few modifications to the llxmltranslate module
and I would like to know to whom I have to send the
changed files for evaluation and integration with the
current llxmltranslate version.
The changes are:
If the default or the new language label has more than
70characters then a text area field (with no
preserving carriage return wrap) replaces the edit
input text field.
I find it very useful because you can observe the
whole text block of the label, which in the original
form appears in one input field in one line.
I used the merge feature and converted to a find
facility. You can search for all occurrences of a
string in the default or in the editing language and
the query will return an edit form (like the merge)
with the query results. I find it very useful in order
to keep the consistency of the translation. For
example you can search for a term and give to that
term the same translation in all xml files.
Is not a very sophisticated system because is for
personal use. It does not have validation of the input
string or a find and replace option but it dose the
job so I believe you would like it…
The changed file is the
typo3conf\ext\llxmltranslate\mod1\class.sc.php that
should be replaced with the downloaded one. Please
consider a backup of your files (xml and original
llxmltranslate files) because is only tested to few
computers …
If somebody likes to see that file he can download it
from the url:
http://www.infoproject.com.gr/temp/class.sc.zip
as a zip file.
Finally I would like to ask where I should address in
order to ask for few changes to other scripts of typo
and report bugs.
Thanks.
