yes of course - just look at the workspace module mass actions

well we just discussed this at a Workspaces Team-meating today.
This had been possible in earlier version - a TS command that forced 
publishing of all content elements when a page had been published.
There seems to be a bug - this is currenlty investigated

It's poissible, too if you only install version but not workspaces.
Nowadays it's not possible anymore to mix up both concepts which in 
earlier times often had been mixed up by many people which may have 
produced strange results.
Nowadays it's only versioning OR workspaces (in fact workspaces uses 
versioning in a more sophisticated and guided way)
