[TYPO3-hci] Main BE menu and top-right dropdownbox

What you mean? Selecting 'Traditional backend' SELECT menu is just an 
alternative (meaned for small screens).

BTW. Tm_shared_lib + tm_toppapps allow to use instead left side menu 
drop dowm menu on top.
