Hey Christopher,

actually I read the Level 1 document! :-)
As mentioned I don't think it should have Prio 1. And as far as I can 
see, we just need clean markup with a couple of standards that XHTML 
strict implies. If we code the backend in XHTML/CSS the whole 
accessibility problem is almost gone, without even thinking of 
JavaScript (since this has little to do with it).
See Robert Markula's post from today that the primary goal is to clean 
the markup first.

Also I think if we put the task in the direction of "cleaning the markup 
in the backend for faster page-loading", maybe more developers will have 
the motivation of doing this. Accessibility will come with this change, 
that's what I meant.
