Hi Mark,

I will build the new Install-Tool for TYPO3 4.X. Currently I'm 
brainstorming with Sebastian Kurfürst about the basic concepts and we 
have the pre-install check on our list.

I was pointed to your post by Patrick Gaumond who collected lot's of 
stuff for improving the Install-Tool.

Maybe we can exchange our ideas on this pre-check issue!? So this can go 
into the next Install-Tool.
