[TYPO3-ect] PGP / GPG mail from TYPO3

Hi team,

I have a request from a client asking if it is possible to send a GPG / 
PGP or other 'secure email' from TYPO3. The idea behind this is of 
course that the client want's to be sure that the email has not been 
tampered with between the Webserver and the receiver.

This sounds like a pretty sensible bit of functionality and does not 
look to hard to implement.

Does an extension that does something along these lines already exist?

What are your views on this matter?
