[TYPO3-ect] pear importer - classpath

Hi *,

I just read Elmar's report about using pear.
I actually didn't have a look at it yet but it seems that files 
downloaded from pear are stored inside the pear extensions's folder.

Wouldn't it be better to store them to some place in fileadmin or better 
/typo3conf/pear?

That way downloaded files do not get lost if you update the pear 
extension itself...
