Hi Fabien,
what is your interest in reducing the range of users? Why do you want to
exclude the many PHP4 users that are still a reality?
I can only repeat myself. lib is PHP5 ready. Sanitizing lib/div from PHP4
gains nothing, but takes time. Who's time does it take? Probably mine. I
still don't find a branch tx_lib/branches/php5 in SVN by anybody else.
So what should motivate me to do so? Am a eager to hear the protests of PHP4
users? There are things to do, that are urgent. A result browser is needed.
Nobody has contributed one despite dozends of users have coded one for
their personal use. The form library needs to be extended. Documentation
needs to be written. And yes, I also need to earn money some times. I need
some bread to eat, some water to drink. So why should I spend my time with
sanitizing lib from PHP4 right now?
Have a nice evening
Elmar
