Not the shorter, the better. The more intuitive to read the better. 

I finally decided for 

   function hasStatusError();
   function hasStatusOk();
   function hasStatusPassed();
   function hasStatusFailed();
   function hasStatusCreated();

to keep the overall coding style of the alpha branch.
