Aloha ECT,
Has anyone used AMFPHP with lib/div for Flash/Flex work? Is anyone
interested in it? I am just now creating a simple extension for TYPO3
assets to be delivered to Flash/Flex/Apollo applications and was curious
if anyone had any experience with this that you may want to share
regarding the use of lib/div for such.
I have integrated the DAM via AMFPHP with Flash before but it was
rather limited and I think that if I use lib/div for this it could be
very fun to play with.
Some questions follow.
1. Whom on this list has experience with Actionscript 2 and 3? AMFPHP?
Apollo (now Adobe AIR Runtime)?
2. We have smarty and php templates. Should we have an AMFPHP type
template as well? A flash remoting template? Does that even make
sense? It would most likely just extend classes a bit since we are
calling classes and moving objects, not XML or HTML which are just
cumbersome to work with in AS.
3. With Adobe's new AIR runtime, formerly named Apollo, we could very
likely create some impressive applications to manage or experience TYPO3
content. Is there any interest in this in the community?
Alright, it's late and I need sleep. Here are some links that may be of
interest.

Anyhow, I don't plan on leading any project on this but you never know,
it happens. I figure the most progressive/experimental folks are in ECT
so there you go.
Aloha
