As Robert pointed out himself lib/div is aimed at bringing MVC to the 
4.x branch. Which basically to me means that there's no conflict as the 
4.x naming rules apply.

 From what we now of TYPO3 5.0 it's also pretty sure that 4.x extensions 
  won't work with 5.0 thus requiring a rewrite anyways.
