[TYPO3-ect] Status of the party extension?

Great idea! I could imagine that there might also be other companies 
that might be interested in sponsoring. At the last Developer Days, I 
had a long chat with Volker Graubaum (www.e-netconsulting.de) who is 
looking for a party solution for their commerce extension. He asked me 
to promote the project to become an "official" TYPO3 project so it could 
be finance by companies. If the WEC takes over this thing, sponsoring a 
full-time dev might become a realistic opportunity.
