I am proficient in PHP, Java, JavaScript, C/C++, Visual Basic, XHTML,
XML, MySQL and a few other things. I've worked on several software
projects and have strong skills in object-oriented programming,
refactoring and design patterns.

Before Typo3, I started doing some QA for the Mozilla project: filing
bug reports, writing small patches, filtering incoming bug reports ...

> * Your experience with TYPO3 in special

I've been creating websites with Typo3 for about 2 years and have been
developing extensions for about 1.5 years. In addition, I've filed a
bunch of bug reports on Typo3 and provided the occasional small fix.

Extensions (from interesting to dull):
Seminar Manager seminars
Contacts List contactslist
Direct Mail Companion dubletfinder
Content tables without P tableswithoutp
Salutation Switcher salutationswitcher

> * Professional profile

I'm a freelance consultant, finishing my degree in CS in the remaining time.

> * Experiences in team leadership and project management

The seminars extension is the first software project for which I'm the
leader. I've worked in several software and non-software projects so
far. I am very skilled in facilitation and training. In addition, I
teach time and project management, web design (including web standards,
accessibility and usability), facilitation, group leadership and a few
other topics.

I know the Mozilla.org process including Bugzilla, a 1-to-3-step code
review, Bonsai and Tinderbox. (For developing seminars extension, we use
a peer review process, too.) In addition, I have done Extreme Programming.

> * Your expectations for the ECT

1. Get some input so that my seminars extension gets even better and
more usable. :-)

2. Provide some thinking about how extensions can be more easier to
install and use and how the code in extensions can be more readable,
reusable and maintainable (thus indirectly improving Typo3).

> * Subprojects that you want to support

Mainly, I'm here to gather input for my extensions and maybe help with
some software design issues.

Greets,

Oliver
