Hi ECT-list!

cool, we now have our own ground... :-) Great that this is now taking up
pace, so I'm glad to introduce myself.

I live in a small town close to Fribourg, Switzerland, which is right at
the virtual border between the French and the German speaking part of
our country. My mother tongue is German, and I also speak English and
French.

 > * Your developing experiences
Development is mostly a hobby for me. I have been programming PHP for a
little over two years now. Other than that, I have some basic skills in
ABAP (SAP programming language) and Visual Basic.

 > * Your experience with TYPO3 in special
I have been working with TYPO3 since 2003. Shortly after that, I have
started looking 'behind the scenes' and started programming extenions. I
have made three public extension so far: partner, partner_fe and watchwords.

 > * Interesting TYPO3 projects you have done
I am the webmaster of our church (http://www.feg-duedingen-freiburg.ch)
which is how I originally got to work with TYPO3.

 > * Professional profile
I do not work in the TYPO3-area, nor in the web-area. I am a solution
consultant for a large ERP-software company (SAP). I have specialized in
a solution for core-banking. I usually work in large projects doing
mostly conceptual and some architectural work.

 > * Experiences in team leadership and project management
I have lead sub-project teams for customer software implementations, but
I do not yet have experience in leading open-source projects.

 > * Your expectations for the ECT
Reduce the number of extensions, while at the same time raise the
quality and interoperability of the remaining extensions.

 > * Subprojects that you want to support
For now, the Partner Framework is the focus of my interest.

Looking forward to working with all of you who share the common vision
of the ECT!

Best wishes,
Dave
