[TYPO3-dam-devel] RFC: #11700: use _GPmerged instead of GParrayMerged

Questions:

1) Why not update trunk (1.2) to require 4.3, and commit the original patch?

2) For 1.1, why introduce another constant, instead of using
if (version_compare(TYPO3_version, '4.3.0', '<'))
to check?
