Sorry, I have been extremely stupid here. I tried to apply this patch 
against dam, not dam_index. To get it running I then started to apply 
the hunks manually and then I suddenly noticed what an idiot I have been 
for days!

But the dam patch causes problems, the code of one file is doubled up. I 
corrected that manually and gave my version to ben.

Result of that procedure: The services info is where I want it! Yeaaah, 
success!

+1 if the dam patch works correctly for the trunk
