[TYPO3-dam-devel] RFC #8528: DAM always resolves a DRAFT workspace version of records, can't get the LIVE version

Hi all,

Problem:
The patch for #7344 introduced a sideeffect so that one can not get LIVE 
versions of a record anymore.

Solution:
Revert the patch for #7344 and use the new patch attached here. This 
patch leaves DAM as it was for the backend, but fixes the frontend 
preview of DRAFT workspaces with DAM elements
