<p dir="ltr">Hi,</p>
<p dir="ltr">Now the fix of Alex is in the sys_refindex is alot better in sync. We have to adjust the FileDeletionAspect so it also cleans the sys_refindex when deleting file(reference)s.<br>
One problem is the use of FAL in extbase to persist a ownObject - sysFileReference - sysFile relation. I'm not sure sys_refindex is updated correctly then, have to do some tests with that. But that is a different issue.</p>
<p dir="ltr">Think we should revert parts of the changes in the filemodule so it uses the sys_refindex again to display references and only when it makes sense use data from sys_file_reference but do not think that is needed anymore with the fix of Alex.</p>
<p dir="ltr">What's your opinion?</p>

Your proposal for sure is interesting, but In my opinion we lack some<br>
usecases there:<br>
- type: group, internal_type: db, allowed: sys_file, recordPicker: File<br>
- RTE inline links<br>
- Linking of Headlines (or any other field that uses the Link Wizard)<br>
- file usage in TypoScript<br>
- file usages in the Media-Element (flexform)<br>
<br>
I think I would be able to continue the list and search for further<br>
occurences.<br>
In my opinion we need to tackle the source (a not reliable ref-index).<br>
