I have to disagree here as I spend already quite a few hours testing the
whole FAL thing during T3BOARD and I really can't imagine that this
state is stable. Many things don't work on windows, uncaught exceptions
are presented all the time and I really haven't started testing advanced
things.

Just giving some examples:
- Inserting more than 1 image from element browser doesn't work
(http://forge.typo3.org/issues/34353)
- Saving one element doesn't work, msg "Attempt to insert record on page
root bla" ..(don't find the issue right now)
- Trying to open an empty storage in filelist module will show you an
exception (http://forge.typo3.org/issues/34389)
- ...

I must admit that I don't know how fast those things and the others can
be fixed.

Thanks!

TRUE but at the same time it needs to be ensured that those who know the
insights are still available to decide how something needs to be fixed.

What does that mean for the bugfixing cycle? Do we then need to send
bugs to master,4-7,4-6,4-5 and 4-4 is completly dropped?

Please provide some manuals how to use it, some examples, ... if this is
part of one of the most challenging things in TYPO3 since a long time,
this should be available ASAP
