renaming labels is not a good idea if the patch is not for all branches!

I also really don't like that patches are a FYI and discussion is taking
place offline. I know you are all core devs but that doesn't mean that
there can something be overseen or just wrong!

Please don't use FYIs for patches which such an impact!
