Hi Benny,

first of all congratulations for this patch! I tested some prior 
versions and i like it very much. I will test the final asap.

One little point i want to discuss. I planned to outsource the JS from 
backend.php for better maintainance and readability. There also some 
things should be optional like the extJS relogin or your flashupload 
(you already did it switchable).
I think user specific setting is the best. If anyone wants to set it 
global it can be done in TYPO3_CONF_VARS['BE']['defaultUC']

So my point is inclusion of JS in backend.php. Here IMHO the setting has 
to be respected as well. If JS is not needed it shouldn't be included.

I see forward for this patch ;-)
