I was thinking about that as well. As it happens there are no real guidelines 
for creating the icons anyway. It is a bit of a mix as it is now.

Jens has already reworked a LOT of icons, but this is for 4.3. It is just 
impossible to get this done in short term. I consider the workspace icon and the 
manual icon 'hot fixes' as the originals are just plain stupid ;-)
