Fine with me. The patch provided with this RFC also solves (or
overwrites) the bug-id #5105. So, for the next patch-level release of
TYPO3 4.1 there is a small bugfix which will be reverted if I'm going to
integrate #5177 into 4.1 branch.

I attached the bug-fix from http://bugs.typo3.org/view.php?id=5105 here
and will commit it tomorrow if nobody objects. See the bugtracker for
details on this issue.
