If it hurts you, you can rename stuff like this by using the compat-mode
feature. But I think it would be easier to a) leave it as it is, or b) add
both switches and copy one of them through config_default.php (end section,
similar to GFX/IM adjustments).

I didn't follow the whole thread. What is the reason behind this? Why should
a user care about that? I'm quite sure this can be automated...

Suggestion: Add a comment where this is used, so it can be addressed by the
