Yeah, except that it may be good to distinguish between a text field that has 
been touched but filled with nothing and a field that has never seen an 
update at all. Ah, what the heck. It's just sick.

So it's completely impossible to distinguish once the data is out of the DB, 
but you need to observe the difference in SQL. Wow.
