Not really, maybe using "normal" lists?

However, it does not work for me with current trunk (DB is IP from 4.4). It 
always prints the HTML as raw text (specialchared) ?!?

How about naming the layouts something speaking?

If hardcoded, please use PNG ;) But I think this would be nice to have 
configurable.
