[TYPO3-v4] What is happening with id 0?

So should we revert the change again? Or is there any situation where an
extension might provides a compatible cache frontend to be used for
cache_pages etc? Maybe we could at least check if we are a "subclass of
VariableFrontend" or maybe have an interface which dictates this?
