HTML5 is coming for TYPO3 4.5, because that cleared out to be the "way 
to go" in modern web technologies. SVG can be embedded directly in 
HTML5, which is why it turns that "old and forgotten nice specification" 
into a new amazing possibilities for the future (no more flash based ad 
banners, etc).
