Rupi and me brought fixes to core list, but never was committed - still 
pending.

i'm fine with removing if we can offer a better tool.
Imho the complete misc (or most of) could be removed from distribution 
as the scripts are
* not maintained
* showing examples only
* 98% not used
* old scripts doesn't fit CGL or modern paradigm

The better would be a real online knowledge base where snippets can be 
taken from.
