[TYPO3-mvc] Render responsive images like TS sourceCollection?

This seems like a quite unflexible solution as cropping and applying
other image operations seems not to be possible using the view helper.

Somehow I have a feeling that some of your post got lost ;-)
Would be interested in further info about rendering via typoscript.
