[TYPO3-mvc] Custom view helpers in a partial called multiple times

Hi all,

I stumbled upon a problematic issue. Consider the following setup:

I have a template calling a partial multiple times. Both the template 
and the partial refer to a custom view helper. When the partial is 
called the first time, everything is fine. But when it is called the 
second time, it doesn't work at all. It's not even invoked at all as if 
it were not loaded.

Is this a known issue? If no, any idea where to start digging?
