Ah ok. Are you initializing the eID dispatcher with a page id from the tree with a proper TS configuration?

somewhere in eIDDispatcher.php:
$GLOBALS['TSFE'] = t3lib_div::makeInstance('tslib_fe', $TYPO3_CONF_VARS, $pageUid, '0', 1, '', '','','');
