[TYPO3-mvc] own widget.paginate and f.widget.paginate throws error

have you checked the things Clause mentioned? How does your template 
look like? Have you checked if you can iterate over the assigned 
variable with the query result? Maybe you already have a typo on 
assigning the variable.
