[TYPO3-mvc] Table alias in QOM selector

Hi List,

I'm trying to build a query where a table is left joined to itself.

It seems that no alias is introduced for the right part in parseJoin() 
(class Tx_Extbase_Persistence_Storage_Typo3DbBackend) when the right and 
left selector names are the same.

Is it a choice or a missing feature ?
