[TYPO3-mvc] Backport fixes from trunk onto 1-2

Hi,

I just went back from Extbase trunk to Extbase_1-2 HEAD and this broke 
my extension :-(

Here is the patch with fixes from trunk that should be backported. I 
don't know the corresponding bug entries and SVN commits related (don't 
have time to investigate) but it would be great to have such fixes in sync.
