this is what i did, of course. the URL which gets generated look like this
http://myserve.tld/index.php?98&backPID=98&tt_products=3###FORM_MEMO###&addmemo=3

PIDmemo is set, the memo page itself is set and the template for memo is set 
as well.

any hints?
