Hello,

It's about the time to start working on concrete things using TYPO3 and
I'd like to convert one non-profit organization site to it.

For that we, amongst some other extensions, need blog and today I saw
announcement for Pingbacks extension:

http://typo3.org/extensions/repository/view/nsvpingbacks

and it states: "Nsvpingbacks works together with other extensions like
tt_news and thus is especially suited for blogs based on TYPO3.", so I
wonder if it might work with news extension or it would be better to
start with tt_news and then move to news later 'cause, iirc, news has
importer for tt_news?
