I think tutorials will emerge after the extension is used more often by 
current tt_news users. And the extension is ready for a change. Right 
now the biggest issue with tx_news is that nobody finds it in TER. Maybe 
TER would need an issue tracker too :-)

Copy Layouts, Partials and Templates from the Resources/Private dir as 
well as the stylesheet(s) from Resources/Public to a place of your 
choice under the fileadmin dir. Change the three constants afterwards 
and work with your copies.
