[TYPO3-ttnews] tt_news updates

Hi

sorry to ask so directly: does anyone know if there will be updates to 
tt_news?

I would like to apply this patch http://bugs.typo3.org/view.php?id=14549 
to disable the "show news from" options.

Of course I'd rather not patch an extension myself - but if there are no 
updates to be expected anyway, I'd do it.
