[TYPO3-ttnews] Categories not selectable on LIST page after upgrade v2.5.2 to v3.0.1

My problem was because of the following typo3 extension that was also
installed:

Make tt_news records sortable with the s...  	mpossnewssorting 1.1.1
Local

After deinstallation of this extension everything works again.
