[TYPO3-ttnews] Localization: Article without Default Language?

Hi all.

I'm setting up tt_news to work with 5 languages. All Newsarticles are stored 
in one News-Sys-Folder (which has all necessary alternative page languages). 
The newsarticles are shown just fine as long as there is a DEFAULT-article 
with translations to it. Articles without a Default-language are not shown. 
What can be done in order to have an article that is ONLY available in eg. 
Italian but NOT in the default language, in this case English?
