[TYPO3-ttnews] amenu to create year links

Hi,

I am building my first big tt_news installation at the moment, and 
everything seems to work as expected. No I just need a AMENU with year 
links to show all news entries of a whole year. This is because I am 
using tt_news also for press reports, there the by month archive is to 
detailed.

Did anyone already write such a userFunc? Or could you tell me what I 
have to pass as parameters to achieve that?
