[TYPO3-ttnews] News detail page - changing language results in empty page (no_news id given)

Hello,

as written in the subject: Seems the plugin doesn't know how to handle 
page switches on the single-news (detail) page. When I change while 
reading a single news article and switch the language the plugin doesn't 
know how to handle the request, as there is no article in that language 
with the same id given in the url (which already belongs to a translation).
Is there a fix/workaround for this?
