When following the documentation and installing timtab on a complete new 
and untouched typo3 site (TYPO3 Ver. 4.1.5) When I try to create a new 
timtab news (and any tt_news event for that matter) I get the following:

Sorry, you didn't have proper permissions to perform this change.

I have removed and reinstalled timtab, tt news and guestbook a number of 
times  but that doesn't seem to help.
