[TYPO3-timtab] Trackbacks and "Umlauts"

Hi!

I noticed a little problem with sending trackbacks from my blog to
others: They arise there as a comment. But all umlauts like ä, ö and ü
are lost and replaced by some strange characters.

Is this a configuration problem or a bug in timtab?
