[TYPO3-timtab] memory problem and suggestions

i like timtab buit i have some thouts and a little problem with the 
extension in it's current state ( wich is very good for 0.5 )

first my problem with timtab,

after installing timtab the extension-manager is always causing memory 
errors "Memory Limit reached!" if i try to connect to the extension 
repository. that happens only if timtab is installed  , not with other 
extensions. maybe someone can confirm this problem. I cant find the 
exact limit set by the provider (phpinfo says there is no limit but that 
is overruled somewhere). Zend optimizer is activated. I currently work 
around with tempraryly disabeling timtab before using the repository but 
that no a nice trick.

my thoughts:  i dont know wheater all the functionality should be 
included in a single plugin

1. - the nice calendar could be a seperate extension or a part of 
tt_news since it is also usefull for people who do'nt need the blog 
functionality. maybe it could also link to recently changed pages if 
configured, the optins schould be little more configurable in the 
cObject Form.

2. - the catemenu extensions should be integrated into tt_news is that 
planned?
